Humble Beginning

Jayantilal Koradiya was born in a small village near the Pakistan border, a place where opportunities were as scarce as basic amenities. Growing up, he faced the harsh realities of life; his childhood was marked by struggle and deprivation. The village had little to offer—no schools, no healthcare, and certainly no comforts. Jayantilal watched as his family fought daily to make ends meet, instilling in him a resilience that would define his future.

In this challenging environment, Jayantilal learned the value of hard work and determination at a young age. The absence of basic facilities made every day a battle, shaping his character and fuelling his ambition. Despite the odds stacked against him, he nurtured dreams that extended beyond the confines of his village, yearning for a better life.

The Search for Survival

At the tender age of 13, Jayantilal faced a turning point in his life. With his family’s financial situation deteriorating, he made the heart-wrenching decision to leave school and seek work to provide for himself and his family. This marked the beginning of his lifelong journey of learning from life’s challenges. He moved to a nearby city in search of employment, where he found a job at a local grocery store.

Working long hours, Jayantilal earned just enough to put food on the table. Each day was a lesson in resilience; he learned how to navigate the complexities of life while grappling with the responsibilities of adulthood far too early. This experience moulded his character, teaching him not only the value of hard work but also the importance of perseverance in the face of adversity.

Building a Family and Dreaming Bigger

At the age of 20, Jayantilal got married, bringing both joy and new responsibilities into his life. In search of a better future for his growing family, he moved to a nearby village in Palanpur, where he once again found work in a grocery store. As he handed over grocery items to customers, Jayantilal felt a burning desire to do something greater with his life. He began to dream big, envisioning a future where he could create opportunities not just for himself, but for others as well.

Determined to turn his dreams into reality, he ventured into the transportation business. Over time, he became adept at navigating this field, building a network and mastering the intricacies of logistics. However, the success came at a cost; long hours away from home strained his family life. Faced with the dilemma of choosing between financial gain and familial bonds, Jayantilal made the tough decision to step away from the transportation business.

A New Chapter in Surat

After leaving the transportation industry, Jayantilal relocated to Surat, where he saw potential in the burgeoning diamond business. He worked tirelessly to establish himself in this new field, gaining valuable experience and insights. Unfortunately, the 1991 recession hit the diamond industry hard, and his business collapsed. Yet, instead of succumbing to despair, Jayantilal saw this as an opportunity to pivot once again.

He decided to enter the real estate market, starting his journey as a broker in the year 1992. Initially, he sold a handful of flats in a project but faced disappointment when he didn’t receive his brokerage fees. This setback sparked a new thought: if he wanted to succeed, he needed to create something of his own. With the unwavering support of his family and friends, Jayantilal established Shilalekh Group.

His first project, Mahavir, was a modest endeavour, but it represented the birth of a new dream. He aimed to provide spacious homes to families, a stark contrast to the cramped living conditions many faced. However, challenges arose when the project was deemed illegal due to changes in government regulations. Rather than giving up, Jayantilal adapted and restructured the project to meet compliance standards. This resilience and commitment to quality set the foundation for what would become a flourishing real estate enterprise.

The Rise of Shilalekh Group

With each new project, Shilalekh Group gained recognition for its commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction. Over the years, Jayantilal expanded his portfolio, developing residential and commercial properties that transformed local communities. His vision was not merely to build structures but to create homes where families could thrive.

In the year 2000, the journey began with Shilalekh Residency, a project of 1BHK, 2BHK &  3BHK apartments that laid the foundation for the company’s reputation. This was followed by Shiddhshila Residency in 2004, which further established the group’s presence in the market. By 2008, after years of hard work and dedication, Jayantilal passed the reins of Shilalekh Group to the next generation. His legacy was not just in the buildings constructed, but in the lives transformed through his vision and determination. The group flourished, continuing to uphold the values of integrity, innovation, and community that Jayantilal had instilled from the very beginning.

Along with his expertise and the qualities of new generation, In the year 2010, Shukan Residency was launched, offering modern living spaces that resonated with the community’s needs of 1BHK & 2BHK Apartments. The group continued to innovate, introducing Silicon Palm in 2013, which became known for its state-of-the-art amenities. Most recently, in 2019, Shukan Lifestyle with 3BHK & 4BHK Apartments was unveiled, emphasizing a luxury and holistic living experience. Currently, the group is working on 2BHK & 3BHK Apartments; Shilalekh Imperia, a project poised to set new standards in luxury and sophistication.
